Logotype and logo

A logo is a graphical element which together with logotype (a uniquely set and arranged typeface) form a trademark or commercial brand. Typically, a logo's design is for immediate recognition. Logos are also used to identify organizations and other non-commercial entities.

Creation of logo is one of the most difficult tasks in graphic design, because graphic designer needs to find ideal balance between creativity, harmony, basic principles of visual communication, everyday visual symbolism, technical constrains, printing cost and using of logo in various everyday conditions.
